01

Working with us

What does Datafindy do?

We are a statistics and data analytics consultancy. We analyze research and survey data, clean and validate datasets, build dashboards, review product and user data, set up process control, coach teams in statistics and build responsible AI automation.

Who is on your team?

A core team of two PhD and two MPhil statisticians. Every project is delivered or reviewed by a qualified statistician.

Which countries do you work with?

We work remotely with clients in the US, UK, Canada and Australia, and with international organizations elsewhere. Calls are scheduled to suit your working hours.

Which software do you use?

SPSS, R and RStudio, Stata, Excel, SQL, Python and Power BI, with NVivo for qualitative data and EndNote, Zotero or Mendeley for references.

02

Pricing and process

How much does a project cost?

Most work is quoted as a fixed price after a free assessment of your data and goals, so you know the full cost before anything starts.

How long does a typical project take?

It depends on the size of the data and the analysis. We give you a timeline with the quote and keep you updated as the work progresses.

What do I receive at the end?

Depending on the service: cleaned data, tables and charts, a written interpretation, dashboards or automations, plus the code or syntax so the work can be repeated.

Do you offer ongoing support?

Yes. Many clients use monthly retainers for recurring reporting, dashboard maintenance or analysis support.

03

Data and confidentiality

How is my data kept confidential?

Files are shared through secure links, used only for your project and deleted on request after delivery. We are happy to sign an NDA, and anonymized data is welcome.

Do you work with health or personal data?

Yes, with de identified data and appropriate safeguards. We will advise on anonymization before you share anything sensitive.

Will my data be used to train AI?

No. For AI projects we choose providers and settings that do not use your business data for model training.

04

Academic support

Do you write theses or dissertations?

No. We offer analysis support, methodology advice and coaching that you can disclose to your supervisor, in line with your institution’s rules.

Can you help me choose the right statistical test?

Yes. We review your research questions and data and recommend suitable methods, with an explanation you can use in your methods chapter. Our guide on choosing a statistical test is a good starting point.

05

Product and growth teams

Do you work with product and SaaS teams?

Yes. Our Product Insight Review helps product, growth and startup teams answer one product question with evidence, such as why trial users leave or which features keep customers coming back.

What data do you need for a product review?

Usually an export of users with sign up dates, key events and outcomes such as activation, purchase or cancellation. Pseudonymized user IDs are preferred, and we agree the exact fields during the free assessment.

06

AI and automation

Can you build a chatbot for our website?

Yes. We build chatbots that answer from your own documents using retrieval augmented generation, tested for accuracy before launch.

Is web scraping legal?

It can be, depending on the website’s terms, the data involved and applicable law. We review this before every project and decline work that is not appropriate.

How do you make sure AI is accurate?

We test every assistant on real questions, report accuracy with a confidence interval, and build in human review for sensitive actions.
